A Unicef Award was given to a 17 year old student for his invention. A glove that can help people with disabilities in movement. 17 Year Old Charis Ioanou got inspired by his grandma who faces movement problems. By seeing her having trouble to even catch the TV remote, he decided to make a glove that would help. It took him one and a half year to make the glove.
The glove weights 350g and it is in beta version and not yet ready to be used in everyday life. "There are some errors yet but the results are encouraging", says the young man who started building the device when he was only 15.
Charis won the award among 123 students last September
