Esref Armagan, child of a poor family from Turkey, was born blind, but that hasn't stopped him from becoming an artist. Although he wasn't given an education base he tought himself to read and...paint. He has developed a unique technique and he always tries to get better. He colors his painting using his fingers after sketching them with a braille stylus.As for the shapes he asked a person to draw around a photograph and then he used his fingers to draw on a paper what he feels.
He has been feautured noumerous times on tv channels. BBC was one of them. He has also exhibited his Galleries across Europe.
Although many people that saw his work believe that not all his drawings are actually his or they believe that he is not congenitally blind, scientists who examined Esref have confirmed his story.
